With constant improvements being made in materials, techniques and methodologies, the company keeps abreast of any new developments that can enhance the service WPF provides to its customers.

WPF’s fully equipped workshops are geared to provide an effective working environment for all the company’s fabrication and maintenance activities, as well as support for field crews engaged in on-site operations.

Facilities in Cockburn Central include an 1,800m² workshop situated on 2,500 m² of yard space.

Equipment includes:

  • 10 tonne overhead cranes
  • 10 tonne yard crane
  • Submerged arc welding booms
  • Multiple pipe rotators and manipulators from 5 to 45 tonne
  • Semi-automatic TIG machine for internal and external CRA and parent metal overlay applications
  • Multiple FCAW, STT, TIG, SAW and SMAW welding machines
  • Diesel welders
  • Diesel and electric compressors
  • NATA certified hydro testing equipment
  • Machining – lathe, large drill press, various saws, punch and shear tools.
  • Pipe bevelling and cold cutting equipment (various sizes)
  • Hydro test flanges & hubs (NATA / API – various sizes)
  • Calibrated measuring and hardness testing equipment (wide variety)
  • Scaffolding and rigging equipment
