Project: Bambra-5H Subsea Mudline Suspension Well Assessment for P&A

While working in close collaboration with our client, WPF designed, manufactured and tested a suite of tools and equipment to facilitate cleaning, pressure testing and subsequent removal of various MLS TA caps. The sub-sea work scope was executed successfully by a team of divers using the WPF tools.

Tools and Equipment Designed and Manufactured by WPF:

  • Guide base / working platform to land out on 30” MLS conductor joint.
  • Hydraulically operated stinger tool to latch onto 13-3/8” MLS TA Cap, depress poppet valve and measure pressure below the TA Cap.
  • Various cleaning tools to remove organic growth from interfacing areas of the TA Cap.
  • 20” casing tie-back tool for P&A operations.
